Craniosacral Fascial Therapy
Tiffanie Weekley, RN

Craniosacral Fascial Therapy (CFT) offers transformative improvements in well-being through subtle adjustments without invasive procedures. This gentle treatment is suitable for all ages and addresses disruptions in the cerebrospinal fluid flow caused by trauma. By using hands-on techniques, CFT releases fascial restrictions, restoring harmony to the body and alleviating various mental and physical health issues.

During a craniosacral fascial therapy session, a thorough assessment is conducted, including medical history and health goals, to customize treatment. Techniques focus on gentle methods, such as holding the head, applying light pressure to the sacrum, and alleviating fascial tension, often leading to deep relaxation or sleep. Sessions typically last 45 minutes to an hour, with initial sessions being longer. Visit frequency varies based on individual needs, ranging from weekly to monthly sessions
.
*We use the Gillespie Approach to CFT, a method pioneered by Dr. Barry Gillespie. This approach integrates the cranial osteopathic principles of Dr. William Sutherland, the myofascial release techniques of John Barnes, P.T., & Dr. Gillespie's own expertise as a periodontist.
